Revamp for Kavango East pedestrian bridge – The Namibian

Swapo secretary general Sophia Shaningwa and former works and transport deputy minister James Sankwasa on Friday inaugurated the Ngwangwa pedestrian bridge in the Kavango East region.

Swapo secretary general Sophia Shaningwa and former works and transport deputy minister James Sankwasa on Friday inaugurated the Ngwangwa pedestrian bridge in the Kavango East region.

The construction of the bridge came after the old bridge could no longer cater for community members at the settlement of Ngwangwa as it was unsafe due to its dilapidated state.

The new bridge was constructed at a cost of more than N$300 000 through a donation from North South West Fishing Company
