Man’s body discovered at Ramatex – The Namibian
THE body of a man has been discovered at Ramatex in Windhoek.
This was confirmed by the police spokesperson Silas Shipandeni on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Shipandeni, the deceased, who is identified as Wilhelm Namboga (41), was found lying deep in the bushes by a member of the public.
“The deceased was found lying down on the ground, on his stomach, without shoes. He was wearing jeans and a white vest,” he said.
Shipandeni added that a smartphone, a cell phone cover and a white T-shirt were found next to him.
“Another cell phone was found in one of his trouser pockets,” he said.
The police said the next of kin have been informed and police investigations into the matter continue.
It is further alleged that the deceased has been missing from his residence in Istanbul Street, Otjomuise, since 10 February.
“According to the deceased’s cousin, the deceased allegedly attempted to commit suicide on the Friday before he disappeared,” Shipandeni said.
